Free Ride '75

The newest band signed by SCF Entertainment , Free Ride '75 is a 70s Classic Rock Tribute.

Growing up in Dothan , Alabama bass player, Prince "Snowman" Snomanetti, formerly of the very popular 70's quintet, The James Monglow Trio, was working on local ostrich farm. Growing tired of skinning ostriches all day, he yearned to return to his first love, Rock n' Roll. So he set out to find some guys to put together and offer the world a taste of the glory of 70s classic rock.

First up was rounding out the rhythm section. And first, on his list was his cousin and James Monglow drummer, Philo Beddoe. Phillo, had recently worked in a California based monastery as a cook for the monks. It was there that he met a young guitar player that could play any lead from any song the 70s had to offer......

That guitar player, was Jimi Perry. Before joining Free Ride '75, Jimi had played with the San Fernando Rockin' Society for 15 years. The SFRS, as they were known, opened for such acts as Russ Flipp, Joe Whittlie, and of course Little Tommy Newburg and the Crabs. Snowman, has often been quoted as saying, "Of all the guitar players I have played with...Jimi is definitely one of them."

With a guitar player in place, all they needed now was a singer.

Enter Mick Jäger. While attending an Allman Brothers show, they guys were at the concession stand when they heard a guy behind them singing One Way Out. It was outstanding and they new the found their guy. After weeks and weeks of negotiating, Free Ride finally made the right offer and Mick was now their frontman. Free Ride '75 was complete!
